Ilustration In Pursuance Of Books An Offer From a Gentleman (Bridgertons #3)

Will she accept his offer before the clock strikes midnight? Sophie Beckett never dreamed she'd be able to sneak into Lady Bridgerton's famed masquerade ball—or that "Prince Charming" would be waiting there for her! Though the daughter of an earl, Sophie has been relegated to the role of servant by her disdainful stepmother. But now, spinning in the strong arms of the debonair and devastatingly handsome Benedict Bridgerton, she feels like royalty. Alas, she knows all enchantments must end when the clock strikes midnight. Who was that extraordinary woman? Ever since that magical night, a radiant vision in silver has blinded Benedict to the attractions of any other—except, perhaps this alluring and oddly familiar beauty dressed in housemaid's garb whom he feels compelled to rescue from a most disagreeable situation. He has sworn to find and wed his mystery miss, but this breathtaking maid makes him weak with wanting her. Yet, if he offers his heart, will Benedict sacrifice his only chance for a fairy tale love? Commentary Out Of Books An Offer From a Gentleman (Bridgertons #3)
UTTERLY ROMANTIC. An Offer from a Gentleman is a fairy tale retelling, but what makes it better than a fairy tale is that this fairy tale may have or can come true.Once upon a time, there lived a girl named Sophie Becket, who is our Cinderella. Shes a bastard child by the earl of Penwood. She is neither recognized nor thrown out, but is known as the earls ward. But everyone can see that shes a bastard, her eyes, hair and everything about her tells it out aloud, but nobody points that fact out.

4.5 Love at first sight Stars Going into An offer from a Gentleman I was a bit worried. I had a friend tell me that Benedict (the hero) ask Sophie (the heroine) to be his mistress over and over for most of the book. That he went on about how she wasn't of his class. She had told me it ruined the read for her. I hate that mistress bullshit in books. It's one of the reasons I avoided most historical romance novels for years. I hate cheating! A mistress is just a side chick, that wasn't good

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! This is a fantastic read! Quinns best so far for me. She has an amazing way to draw you into the story from the first few pages and youre smiling from the get-go right up to the end :) She even manages to take you on a sudden heart-breaking emotional roller coaster ride that really gives you the chills and makes you want to cry for the h/h as a couple. This contrasts so well with the rest of the light-hearted story making the situation all the more poignant. The

The 1st part was a cute Cinderella story, I loved it, but the 2nd part was even better! I really, really enjoyed Benedict's story! I'm very curious about the next book, because it's Colin's story, and he is my favorite Bridgerton, hope it will be good!

3.5 stars. I enjoyed this fairly light retelling of Cinderella. I didn't think this kind of book would be my thing, but I found it a quick and easy read. I liked the MCs and hated the wicked stepmother, as you do. Benedict was wonderful, and Sophie had a quiet personal strength that I liked. I did find it a bit hard to swallow that she didn't leave her stepmother's household when she had the opportunity though. If it was really THAT bad, you just wouldn't have stayed, no matter what. The magical

Update 6/20/19: Just in! Julie Andrews will be the voice of Lady Whistledown in the Netflix series!🙌If the upcoming Netflix series is going to be even half as good as the books, we are in for a real treat.

My Review Short and SweetStarting out with the delightful feel of the fairytales Ever After and Cinderella, Julia Quinns An Offer From A Gentleman quickly takes on a magical life of its own and becomes another feel good installment of the Bridgerton series! The charm of Benedict and Sophie along with the chance to revisit the other Bridgertons has made this one my favorite of the series so far.
