Chain Of Title is a mystery romance. This book was a little good at times but also just okay at others. The mystery part was all hype and not much action in the end. The story is a standalone but the author left a little window that if she wants to come up with more books, she can.The story opened with Shayna who had very resently divorced her much older cheating ass husband. They had been happily married for 23 yrs when Frank slept with a girl 1yr older than their own daughter. When one day4.25 Stars. This certainly isnt a typical love story. This story starts with a new romance between freshly divorced, Shayna and Sean, the owner of an Italian restaurant she dines at often. This plus 40 couple have a hot relationship that is upsetting to her daughter and makes her ex-husband, Frank, extremely jealous. As the story continues, it changes direction with the addition of suspense and violence. The love affair becomes intense, as Shaynes realizes Sean has a mysterious dark side. It
I am giving this book 5 stars the 1st chapter or 4 i thought i wasn't going to enjoy this book i was a bit bored but i am not one for putting a book down and stating a new one so i kept going and boy am i glad i did this book is great loved it i got to love all the characters i have read some of Robyn's books before the keeper series which was great and this is completely different from those what a very talented lady cant wait for more from this author
Within the first page you can see that this is not your customary romance novel. No, the author is a literary magician. Her writing is so engaging that she sucks you into Shayna's psyche and life within moments, and you have no choice but to greedily gobble up every page in this book. The characters are so well rounded that they jump off the page. And the dialogue...wow! It's very realistic and not stale and forced like many other romance novels. But wait, Chain of Title is not just a romance
I throughly enjoyed this book!!! There were so many twists and turn that kept me on the edge! Shayna just found that her husband of 22 years has been cheating on her with his secretary. Shayna doesn't forgive anyone. After 3 years of a divorce battle, Shayna is free for the first time, too bad her daughter disagree with her decision. This was a hot, good read with a strong heroine over the age of 40. I really enjoyed it.
