Relation Conducive To Books Hooked

Millie Diamond is your typical high school senior. She has great parents, a younger brother, and two best friends who round out her better than average life. Her future is planned out, thanks to her police officer father, who strictly enforces the rules with a firm, but loving hand. Millie is a kind-hearted soul and proper daughter who respects her dad's authority...until she meets a mysterious new student who stirs emotions in her she's never felt before. A drug deal gone bad in South Boston, leaves Cash Davis' mother no choice but to move him to Tennessee. His life hasn't been easy, but Cash is tough, and plans on making his future better than his past. Those plans include keeping his head down and finishing high school... but nothing ever comes easy for Cash. His connection with Millie surprises him, and as hard as he tries, he can't stay away from her. Millie's dad arresting him before their first date is definitely not ideal for Cash, and it causes friction between Millie and her parents. Can Millie convince her parents that Cash is the guy for her? Will she still want to after secrets from his past are revealed?

Assess Of Books Hooked
Predictions were made for their senior year. Maddie will be dating the newest guy in school, Jess is gonna wear a gown on their prom night, and Care will go to college with her boyfriend Jason. So far, only two came true.. Nevertheless, it doesn't change the fact that Maddie is soon gonna experience the pain and joy with her first love. And I guess, it's true what they say.. First Love Never Dies... at least for MAD and Cash. While Millie is a good daughter and a loyal friend, Cash isn't the

I would say this is 2.5-3 star read, i am YA reading fan but i found this a bit slow and over discriptive. Also i think its probably for a younger age group. It did get a little better towards the end and as an ok read however i didnt think i would recommond or re-read it

Hooked is an average teenage love story that, although not very unique, did have me hooked despite its flaws (and I found a lot of those). It was honestly unputdownable. I felt Hooked was a quick and fun read with just enough angst. The main characters Millie and Cash were likeable enough, but I wouldn't say they were memorable. (I must ask, though... is Cash a common name in America? It's a very unusual one!) Millie is a very sweet girl who is a bit of a goody-two-shoes. She doesn't like to get

Well you get information overload in the first 8% and then I seriously enjoyed the book!! I loved Millie and Cash so much. Great side characters and a good pace to the story!!

This book was a very easy and quick read. The storyline was pretty cliché and so were the characters. For this reason I really didn't enjoy it as much as I would've liked to. Even though it was cliché it could've been a better if it was written in a way that complimented the story. In saying this, the writing was pretty young, and because of this the story didn't progress far enough for me. The detail of the writing was quite precise but it wasn't to the point as much as I would've hoped. Most

Hooked was a great read for me. It took me back to a time in my life I have not thought about in over 20 years. Thank you for Millie and Cash's story. I would recommend it for any parent with a teenager. Thanks again.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.Hooked was the first book I'd read by Carrie Thomas, and it won't be the last. I enjoyed this story about trust, kindness, and love. The characters she created will work their way into your heart and stay there.Millie, the main character, was such a sweetheart. She constantly saw the good in other and only wanted to help everyone. Her concern for others was genuine. Cash, her love interest, was a bad boy on the surface. Deep down, he had a good
