Not that kind of story that will make you swoon or sigh, because in this there's no happy ending. It's sad but honest, hurtful but tender and the emotions are so real. It's about regret. It's about a dream and a future lost forever. There's just this long goodbye. Then, realization and acceptance. Because there are things not meant to be, and you have to let them go.What makes Marina, theÈ un Dylan Dog insolito questo: non ci sono mostri o incubi contro cui combattere, bensì una storia d'amore giovanile rivissuta attraverso i ricordi. Realtà e sogno, passato e presente si fondono e diventano un tutt'uno durante la misteriosa notte in cui si svolge la vicenda; è una storia di rimpianti, di esitazioni, di non detti che avrebbero potuto cambiare la vita di due persone. D'altronde è una storia che un po' tutti possiamo aver vissuto, per questo emoziona tanto e fa commuovere.

Chi ama Dylan Dog non puo' non conoscere a memoria quest'albo. E non puo' non aver pianto...almeno la prima volta!
I enjoy when a book isn't one thing. Dylan Dog is primarily a horror book but at times it can be any number of other things. In the case of The Long Goodbye it is a whimsical Gothic love story. Dylan is reunited with his first love, Marina. They go on a book length drive and reminisce about their summer of love all the while the drive is a fantasy trip and many things are obviously not real. I really enjoyed this story. I enjoyed the art. It was far straight forward than the first two volumes in
