Comment On Of Books Star Trek Cats: (Star Trek Book, Book About Cats)
This is for anyone that loves Star Trek AND Cats. Seriously, such fun. Hopefully there will be TNG and Voyager (and the other series too) in the future! Would love to see more from this artist.

Ok so I actually liked this more than I expected to.The artwork is very good....also why do the cats actually LOOK like the human (or Vulcan) characters that they're representing? How did Sulu cat look so unimpressed with the dog-alien??Anyway! I finished it in under 5 minutes, since it's really a coffee table book. There was no plot, but it was fun to review some of the classic scenes from TOS and see how the author translated everyone into cat form.

The art in this is so cute!!

This is literally the best thing ever and I need to own it yesterday. While there's no story, it's basically just recreations of famous scenes, but who cares? There are awesomely drawn cats. As Trek characters. What more do you need in life? Hopefully, Ms. Parks will have sequels with Next Gen and all the other incarnations of ST, and possibly some other fandoms. Buffy cats? OMG, I needz it! I'll try to add some pictures later if I don't procrastinate too long. The Crew:

I love cats. I love Star Trek. So when I heard about the new book from Chronicle Books titled Star Trek Cats by Jenny Parks combining these great loves, I immediately ordered myself a copy.In spite of my excitement, upon its arrival, I initially had an irrational and undeserved hatred of this book. I was expecting it to be more like a childrens picture book with a traditional story, or perhaps simply photographs of actual cats suffering the indignity of wearing Star Trek themed costumes on all

Star Treks cats arent ordinary cats. They dont chase mice; they chase Klingons. Seriously, if the Star Trek cast were cats instead of humans, this is what they would look like. The Captain looks rather arrogant and is definitely in charge. But the Vulcan cat looks like he really does know everything, but is aloof and perhaps a bit bored. A well thought-out and decidedly attractive marriage between cats and Star Trek.

As Spock would say (probably with a raised eyebrow), it is eminently logical to infer that Star Trek fans are cat lovers, while Star Wars fans are dog lovers. What that says about the quality and intellectual rigour of the two respective franchises is, of course, open to debate. (Let us add here that a cat never would have shot first it would have been sleeping behind the bar.) I was a bit hesitant to take a peek at this short book as I thought it might be insufferably twee However, my heart
