The Cirque Du Freak series by Darren Shan has been one of the best series by far that I have ever read. I first picked up this series when I was in middle school. I just recently finished it again for the second time. Not only did I catch things I missed before, but the story line made much more sense, now that I am older and can "connect the dots" better. I loved this book series with a burning passion, and it is probably one of my all time favorite series. It is just very nicely put together and I really enjoyed how the author managed to tie himself into the story. The gore and overall writing was magnificent, I would recommend this series for anyone to read.The thing that really got me though was the movie. It was rubbish.
