Crit Epithetical Books النبطي
The grass seems greener on the other side.....You have expectations and you think since you want something badly and you dreamed about it from ages you can change anything and anyone....Sorry poor Maria Hell no, it's not the case in real life and the more we get old the more we go far from the perfect image and the more things become complicated.....They keep saying change is good but actually it's not it is all about things that you didnt want to happen and it did so what is good about that?

he started very well it was very interesting till it2 two thirds then zidan lost in some unimportant details but he finished it very well as azazil he gives another view of the old religous stories

I think the book is very well written. The story in itself is rather weak, but the descriptions and the time line context is very powerful. The author has made a lot of reflections that have an impact on our world today. I think this book calls for a very deep and analytical historical discussion, which might cause many grievances in dogmatic people.

Brilliant! My words fail in describing this book. I'm not familiar with the writer nor if this book has been properly researched or not, yet it does offer a brand new point of view on the lives of ancestors and history. The history of the weak is much more interesting than the one that we are used to reading. The language is very subtle. The main character is so innocent and empty of all previous knowledge that makes her both irritating and enjoyable to read. Highly recommended.

I found the book very interesting because it introduced us to the culture that Islam came to. This helps a lot in understanding its rules and the reasons they were forced. In other words, things that were used to be done back then, can not be done night. And thus, Islam and its practitioners have to develop and not stick to rules that were put to fit people who lived almost 1500 years ago.

I was expecting a feast like I had with Azazeel, but boy I was disappointed! The story of Maria was a bit pointless in my opinion, I wasn't sure what the writer wanted us to get out of it. Also the heavy sex references were a bit too much, at least I didn't expect it from him. I liked the historical references, but they were very few and I couldn't figure out what messages he was trying to convey. The book in my opinion is too short, it's like it ended suddenly, probably he's thinking of a second

Again and again Yusuf Zidan stuns us with a marvellous nover takes place in a part of history we almost never considered knowing anything aboutfrom the first line with an amazing spiritual start till the end with a stunning -as usual - open ending, he leaves us with loads of knowledge, feelings and hopes. One thing makes this novel better than Azazil; which is this time we have a heroin not a hero which make it much easier to feel sad for her and feel the need to support her .. much like I felt
