Thoroughly enjoyed this book. I realize this is sci fi, but its much more than that. Loved the interplay between Brad and Shinny (and of course all the sci fi elements). I felt in good hands with this authors story, and am impressed that this is a debut novel. I look forward to reading more work from this author!"Connor's Gambit" is a sci fi story about a fairly ordinary man going on a very extraordinary adventure. A good yarnI enjoyed the premise of the book. If I have any quibble, it would be that the protagonist got a little too good a little too fast. I am waiting for the sequel which I definitely will Reesf.
Great Sci FiI found this story Interesting and it had good story line . I enjoyed this book and look forward to a sequel.
GreatI enjoyed this book so much that I read it in one day. The premise was a new slant on aliens with a very human component to it. If you enjoy a Good book with lots of action,this is the one for you.
Excellent storyWhat an interesting story! Very well written, with a good plot and characters. The challenges for the protagonist are fascinating, as he not only needs to come to grips with alien life, but that his wife is from another world too. He finally comes to grip with the new knowledge and then embraces his role, which ends up aiding his allies in surprising ways. Even so, his family is of primary importance to him and he makes certain to spend time with them nd not disappear for years
Exciting, out of this world adventure!Im not a sci-fi guy, so I wasnt sure how I would react to Connors Gambit. Many of the reviews I read were all praising the story so I figured, its only a buck, Ill give it a try.
