Evaluation Regarding Books My Father's Son

It's easy to tell that Symonds knows how to write. As an American with little-to-no familiarity with the sort of familial bonding that comes from being in the military or a part of a military family, I was shocked at how connected I felt to the Butler family. I think the most impressive part of Symonds storytelling was the dialogue. He knows how to write a conversation very well, which is usually the hardest part for an author.**I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.**

Mr. Symonds is an award-winning journalist who published his first novel in the summer of 2015. "My Father's Son" is the story of a young man whose father, a decorated Navy SEAL, is killed in combat in Afghanistan. His second novel, "Enemy in the Wire," features some of the same characters from "My Father's Son," but is more of a SpecOps thriller. Former Navy SEAL Christopher Mark McKinley workedThis is a very well written novel about a young boy whose father is a Navy SEAL. The author, Andy Symonds, is the son of a Navy veteran. He wrote this book with the input of a retired Navy SEAL. You can be assured with this type of inside knowledge from both the author and the retired Navy SEAL that the book will be true to the lives of a military family. This book has been endorsed by the Special Operations community.Nate is only 13 years old when his beloved father, a Navy SEAL, is killed in

An incredible story!!What a ride! This book was fantastic. The personalities were well developed and authentic. The action was exciting. The main character was very real. This book is highly recommended even if you're not a fan of the armed services.

Symonds nailed this book. From start to finish this book moves you. Having a son going on his 15th year in the military, and knowing the feel of waiting for the black vehicle to pull up in front of the house. To watching my owe grandson who wants to be just like dad.. Symonds shows all the highs and the lows. Loved you book.. Thank you
