Explanation Supposing Books Everyone Has a Boss
(Available on Amazon.com)When our parents told us to get a job, they didn’t tell us how to be an employee. No one did.
Having a sweet phone voice and knowing QuickBooks is great, but what a boss really wants is someone who helps the business succeed. Someone who’ll finish tasks and not ask “Where is it?” when they’re told to get the Johnson file.
Whether you’re blue or white collar, becoming a better employee is in your own best interest.
Sure, it makes your boss look good and the company more profitable, but being worth more also means a bigger paycheck and a quicker promotion.
"Give this book to every employee in your office. The information here is so valuable that your employees or coworkers will thank you. David Sneed has a story to tell and he tells it in a way that will engage and delight and I cannot imagine anyone not feeling motivated and raring to go after completing it. The best attributes of this particular guide is that the author not only details the specific behaviors that lead to success as an employee but he follows this advice with first hand examples, from his own life, on how to accomplish these behaviors and make a habit of them. 5 stars, recommended."

A creative, well-written book that kept me laughing and eager to read more. The author delivers his lessons through pointed anecdotes. This isn't just a book about career advice; it's a book that will make a difference in your life. Highly recommend.I absolutely loved this book! Everything that the author said spoke to me about how I am and what I needed to change to become a better employee. Even though I am self-employed.I also really enjoyed the life experiences the author included, it gave to book depth and explained very well why we listen to him. It is always easier to change something about yourself if you know why you should and this book gave you that. If you want to learn what you are doing wrong in the job market, read 'Everyone

**I received this book for free as part of the Goodreads First Reads program. This book isn't full of great revelations that will change your life, but it is full of common sense things that you know, but have probably forgotten to practice - and practicing them just might change your life. Everyone could use a reminder now and then, and this light, quick read is just the thing to do it. Mr. Sneed comes off as personable, professional, and successful, so dedicating an hour or so to read through

From an Amazon Reviewer: This book is a must read for anyone and everyone. Period. The style is easy to read, easy to understand and speaks to every level. This is, at first glance, an employee manual... something that workers can use to navigate their workplace, deal with their boss and help them succeed. But if you extrapolate the messages... the lessons you'll easily see that these lessons can be applied at school, work, church, community events... just about anywhere!Highly recommended
