Article Regarding Books The Uninvited (The Julianna Rae Chronicles)

I have to admit that this genre (dystopian urban fantasy, with a sci-fi tone, right?) is not part of my usual reading preferences. But having discovered this incredibly powerful, gritty, brutal, engrossing and complex first volume in what looks to be a great series, I enjoyed (not quite the right word) following the plight and journey of Julianna Rae, the flawed and vulnerable yet highly effective and aggressive heroine.I was plunged right into the action with the first sentence, and the micro

Interesting readWhile I found this book interesting and somewhat enjoyable, for me there was just something missing. I did like the story and the characters and am still trying to work out if Caden is some sort of Vampire. .......

Of course I'll give it five stars. I wrote the darn thing, it's my book :) more 5 star reviews on Amazon.

I'm not sure what genre I would consider this book. I bought it thinking it was science fiction but I'm not sure I would categorize it as such. I had a hard time figuring out exactly what was up with each of the characters. Even after finishing the book, I'm not entirely sure what a Watcher, a Walker, or a Seer is exactly. Or what an initiation involves. Or why they are sucking blood. They don't seem like vampires but maybe I've missed something. Perhaps all of these will be explained more in

I love this story and am so ready to read more of this series. The characters are interesting and written well. The storyline is very good and keeps you guessing and wanting more. I look forward to reading the rest of this series and more from this author. Great job Aral for bringing your dystopian world to life for us to enjoy.

Of course I'll give it five stars. I wrote the darn thing, it's my book :) more 5 star reviews on Amazon.
