Qaid finds its setting in a village located in the unpartitioned subcontinent. A village kid, at the onset of his puberty feels restless at night and decides to explore his village at night. Want to read
typical of Abdullah hussein slow build up of different plots in different frames of time almost covering three generations of a family . so a slow story at start and abrupt revelation of all the lost strings in the final plot setup was same like nashaib by the same author mostly in suburbs and some touch of a city life . major theme of feminism , religious self righteousness and exploitation of poor , uneducated folk by religion and landlord , specifically by peers etc .
I would recommend it to my friends . Good subject
