Interpretation To Books The Man Painter (Painter #2)
Melissa Turner Lee does it again, but this time better!Book Two happens two years later, and I love that. I love that the characters had time to mature. And with the changes between the two, it's definitely a brilliant thing for them.
Holly and Theo aren't together, at first, but they soon find one another again, but this time, they have a whole new mess of troubles to face. At least this time, we get to do it with them being together.
I felt a deeper connection to the characters this time, and I think that their growth had a lot to do with that. Human nature screws us all at times, and I think that's why this book is so relatable. Sure, their problems are exaggerated, but you still connect with them on a deeper level, feel for them.
The Man Painter also begs us to ask what we wouldn't do for the people we love.
I cannot express just how amazing this book was! I couldn't put it down. Bravo!
**I received an ARC for a fair and honest review of the book.**

First off, I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest, unbiased review, as a part of my Goodreads book club. All thoughts and opinions are my own. After reading the first book in this series, 'The Earth Painter' (which I loved), I was very happy to dig in to the conclusion of the story in 'The Man Painter'. This book picks back up with Holly, as she struggles to piece her life back together after losing Theo two years prior. She isn't sure where he is, if he hates her

You know how there are those books that when you read them, whether it's a reread or something new in the series, it's just like the best feeling of contentment. Like catching up with a friend that you haven't seen for a while. That's how I feel about The Painter Series. Melissa Turner Lee was one of the first authors to ever contact me about a book review and I fell in love with her unique story and characters in The Earth Painter. And so I have been waiting somewhat impatiently for The Man

Melissa Turner Lee's "Painter Series" is an addiction. It's wholly original and completely unique. It's a guilty pleasure. Holly is easy to relate to, and Theo is utterly swoon-worthy. With the way The Earth Painter ended, I had to read this book, I didn't have a choice. This book takes us two years past when we last saw Holly and Theo. We discover both of them have huge secrets, and are unwilling to share them. Meanwhile Fritz waltzes in and does his best to make things miserable for both.I love
3.5- I enjoyed this sequel to The Earth Painter . I really enjoy the author's original storyline of creation and the painters and the sciences ;however, I felt that this book became more of romance novel . That is fine but I would have enjoyed more with the Sciences , more backstory of Fitz and even more Khai-Ree.
