This was a great read. The author has a refreshing story-telling style and unique literary voice. I appreciate the honesty of her stories and enjoyed her use of Spanish words in some of the stories-. This book is filled with emotions and sometimes light sadness, yet its full of love and tenderness. A talented and deep soul writer. I will look forward to her new books!Tanya is a native of the Hispaniola. She has been a classroom teacher for over two decades.
