Diamond Playgirls
That is a generous 3 stars. This book was just okay.It is a series of 4 novellas written by 4 different female authors, each about a woman who is moving into a brownstone in New York City. The first story is about Dior, who comes from Montreal, Canada. I wasn't a huge fan of her story at first, but after reading the others, hers actually wasn't too bad. Dior is a shopaholic and spends too much money (she even runs out of cash on her first day in NYC and can't pay her cab fare). She starts a
The book gives me black 'Sex in the City' vibes. Great story and my fav from the author.

Four authors I like writing about four young, successful women moving from different states (and in one case Montreal) to the same building in Harlem. All the ladies are having issues with men and work.Their stores intersect briefly here and there as they meet and greet each other. Until the end that is. When they are united on Valentine's Day. All meeting at a spot called Mobay's (that I used to love before it closed). The creepy neighbor that united them is there as well. This is a nice, light
♥ This Book Was Boring ♥
Not a very interesting read. I struggled to finish. Did not capture my attention. Very disappointing as I am an avid reader of these authors books

Four beautiful, professional women, living on separate floors of a Harlem brownstone are about to discover they have a lot more in common than just their address... Dior's name is no accident-she's got a taste for the finer things in life, and New York City is just the place to find them. So far she's got the job and the apartment. Now she needs the man-and she hopes she's found him on the Internet. Dior is prepared to find out on Valentine's Day... Party promoter Tamara has been recruited from Atlanta to open a hot new club. All the women in her family are known for their great looks, great cooking-and the fact that they can't stay married. Tamara is hoping to break that tradition. But is dating three different men the best strategy? With beauty, brains, and a hefty bank account, Chloe is a BAP on a mission: she wants to run a top magazine. But just as she's up for a big promotion her boyfriend gives her an ultimatum. Will Chloe choose to follow her ambition-or her heart? Casting director Mona-Lisa works hard-and plays even harder. She's avoided relationships her whole life. When a tragedy opens her eyes to the possibility of true love, she's compelled to share a special day with a man from her past. But she's overlooked some crucial details... One by one, each woman crosses paths at a local club on Valentine's Day-and the secrets about to be revealed will forever change their lives....Point Based On Books Diamond Playgirls

I don't like short stories, but I love Miasha and Daaimah S. Poole. I gave it a try and was very disappointed. I don't think it could have been more boring. There was no point, no interest, just nothing...I only read the whole thing hoping it would get better and because I paid for it...Don't eve go to the library to read this book...Don't read it at all. That is a generous 3 stars.
